"NO on 8" filed 3 lawsuits to invalidate the passing of "proposition 8." (yes on 8) defining marriage as only between a man and a woman and
invalidating the 18 000 marriage performed between May 2008 and November 2008 when 4 judges allowed
same sex marriages in California.

Attorney for "No on 8" claims that the majority cannot deny rights to minorities.

Judge said The right to Life is an unalianable right yet the people of California voted FOR the Death Penalty.

Attorney for "Yes on 8" claims that the majority rules.
52% voted for "Yes on 8" and 48% voted "No on 8"

(surprisingly same percentage as the Nov 4th, presidential elections. 52 Obama 48% McCain)


Final decisions of the judges will be announced in June 2009.
